This website only collects information that you voluntarily provide through the Coffee Chat request form. The form may ask for:

• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• Your LinkedIn profile URL (optional)
• A brief note on what you'd like to discuss (optional)

No other data is collected. This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts of any kind. Your visit is completely private.

3. Why we collect your information

Your information is collected for one purpose only: so that Puneeth Purushothama can review your request and get back to you to arrange a coffee chat or virtual call. Your data is never used for newsletters, marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose.

4. How your information is stored

When you submit a coffee chat request, your data is written directly to a private Google Sheetvia the Google Sheets API, using a dedicated service account. The sheet is accessible only to Puneeth Purushothama. No data is stored on this website's servers.

All communications regarding your coffee chat request are handled privately and directly.

5. How long your data is kept

Your form submission is kept for as long as needed to follow up on your coffee chat request — typically no longer than 3 months. After that, the row is deleted from the Google Sheet. If you would like your data deleted sooner, simply email gowdapuneeth26@gmail.com and it will be removed within 7 days.

6. Who can see your data

Only Puneeth Purushothama can see your submitted information. It is never shared with, sold to, or accessed by any third party — no recruiters, no companies, no advertisers. The only technical exception is Google LLC, whose Sheets API is used to store the form data, and Vercel Inc., whose infrastructure hosts this website and processes all web requests.

7. Your rights under GDPR

As this website is based in Switzerland and serves visitors from the European Union, both the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG), in force since September 2023, apply to the handling of your personal data.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access — you can request a copy of the data held about you
• Right to rectification — you can ask for inaccurate data to be corrected
• Right to erasure — you can ask for your data to be deleted at any time
• Right to restriction — you can ask us to limit how your data is used

• Google Fonts (Google LLC) — used for website typography (DM Sans). Fonts are loaded via Next.js at build time and self-hosted on Vercel — no requests are made to Google's servers at runtime. policies.google.com/privacy
• Cal.com — used for virtual call booking and scheduling. Only triggered if you choose the "Virtual call" option on the Coffee page. cal.com/privacy
• LinkedIn — linked for professional profile. Only accessed if you click the LinkedIn link. linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

Once you navigate to any of these external services, their own privacy policies govern how your data is handled.

9. Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the change. As this is a personal portfolio, significant changes are not expected. You are welcome to check back at any time.
